Cappadocia No:14 balances stone, one of the heaviest and most ancient elements of the earth, with the volatile, gravity-defying lightness of glass. This special design embraces the millennia-old layered memory of nature with a transparent breath, as if suspended in air.
The focal point of this piece is the sculptural, wide, expansive, and almost dome-like form of hand-blown glass. Rising with a slender and elegant neck, this crystal-clear body flows over the sedimentary rock beneath it like a melted drop of water. The beige, brown, and charcoal black horizontal lines of the stone reflect through the glass's wide curved surface, which creates a lens effect, offering a different visual depth from every angle. Rather than completely covering the stone, the glass flows from one end towards the ground, adding an effortless, natural, and "wabi-sabi" asymmetry to the design.
Cappadocia No:14 is designed for those seeking a serene yet powerful "statement" in their living spaces. Its wide body perfectly captures light, while its narrow neck structure is ideal for displaying minimal dry branches or a single elegant flower. On wooden tables, linen tablecloths, or raw concrete surfaces, it is a captivating art object that demonstrates how time slows down and how nature's contrasts harmoniously unite.
