The Engineering of Fire and Stone: Production Process

In the production of Nemrut Vase No: 6, molten glass is directly blown onto natural lava stone. During this process, the glass captures the wild texture of the stone within itself, forming an unbreakable bond with the stone as it cools. The form of the lower part of the glass is entirely shaped by the structure of the stone placed beneath it at that moment.

• Unique and Irreplicable: Due to the production technique, the surface of each stone and the expansion of the glass at that moment are different. Therefore, the No: 6 you purchase is the only example on Earth; it is technically impossible to produce another one like it.
