Patara Claret Glass Vase

This piece, born from the Patara series, represents a different moment in the same geography.
The blue stone base evokes the cool and deep layers of the Mediterranean; while the burgundy glass pressed onto it reflects the concentration of light on the stone as the sun approaches sunset.

The formal language is akin to Patara; however, the color and behavior of the glass elevate this piece to a different level on its own. The burgundy glass flows across the stone in a fluid yet controlled manner; the spread, thickness, and stance of the glass change with each production. Therefore, each resulting vase, though belonging to the Patara family, carries its own unique character.

This piece is a more intense, deeper interpretation of the same form, in contrast to Patara's calmer and lighter tones.
It originates from the same root, yet carries a different spirit.
