Patara Blue Glass Vase No: 4

The Patara series is a design journey that brings together the fluid marks left by the Mediterranean waves on the rocks and the crimson sun of Patara Beach in the same form. Patara Blue Glass Vase No: 4, the fourth piece of the series, combines the clear sapphire tones of hand-blown glass with the warmth of natural red veins in the marble block.

The marble in this model is like a part of the layers that nature has processed over millions of years. The crimson veins, winding between gray and white, evoke those golden-crimson shadows that fall on the sands at sunset in Patara. The fluid form of the glass, extending slightly horizontally, reflects the last step of a wave approaching the shore.

The blue tones, dancing with light on the surface of the hand-blown glass, create a striking contrast with the warm veins of the marble. This contrast, much like Patara's calm yet powerful nature, adds both serenity and a sculptural character to the space.
