Patara Blue Glass Vase No: 5

The Patara series is a journey that combines the traces left by the crashing waves of the Mediterranean with the crimson sunset of Patara Beach in the same design. The fifth piece in the series, Patara Blue Glass Vase No. 5, combines the powerful sapphire tones of hand-blown glass with the warmth of the distinctive red veins in the marble block.

The marble in this model bears streaks of red on its gray-white base, like a sunset light falling on the sand. These color patterns within the natural stone recall the moment when the rocks at Patara glowed with a red glow as the sun set. The fluid form of the glass reflects the gentle movement of the wave as it touches the shore for the last time.

The glass form of the Patara Glass Vase No. 5 has a wider, softer curve. As light passes through the glass, it merges with the red veins in the marble, creating a sculptural and warm atmosphere. Each handcrafted piece is unique, thanks to the unique veining of the marble and the natural flow of the glass.
