The Patara series is a collection that combines the endless horizons of the Mediterranean, natural coastal cliffs shaped by the wind, and the clear movement of water in a modern object design. The seventh piece in the series, Patara Blue Glass Vase No. 7, stands out with the cool gray veins of its marble block. These veins are reminiscent of the natural striations of the rocky surfaces along the Patara coast, revealed by sunlight.

The sapphire tones of the hand-blown glass reflect the calm, ebbing motion of the sea's waves, rising and falling like a deep breath, while the powerful form of the marble stands like a rock supporting this fluid structure. The glass's seemingly curved, flowing form evokes the traces left by water receding after hitting the shore.

The character of this model is created by the contrast between the cool, stone tones of the gray marble and the bright blue of the glass. When natural light refracts through the glass, the blue reflections that fall on the marble's surface resemble the subtle tides that create a play of shadow and light on a beach.
